A year ago in June 2006 I went on a tour of the Mountain View Conservation Centre outside of Langley, BC. Here is a sampling of photos taken on that visit. Above are a couple of ostriches and in the photo below a cheetah.
In the photo above are a pair of zebras. I believe they are called Grevy's Zebras. There is a closer look at one in the photo below.
Then there is the addax. Below is an image of three of them plus some closer shots of one of the young from that year.
The little guy wanted to tag along on the tour but did stay behind just the same. If you live in BC's lower mainland or are planning a visit to the area, have a look at their website [
